Mustard Yellow and Burnt Orange Retro Comic Palette

Mustard yellow base, pale blue sky, and heavy black outlines give it that old-comic feel.

Prompt notes

✍️ The subject here is really a color swatch: name mustard yellow, pale blue and burnt orange clearly, and let --sref set the tone. Yellow and blue carry the ground while orange stays an accent, so it won't turn muddy in print. When borrowing this, write the color names first and the linework second, not the other way round.

Subject open: whatever you like. Colour keys for the look: mustard yellow for the backdrops, pale sky blue overhead, burnt orange kept to small accents. Draw it as a vintage comic book: thick black contour lines, loose and expressive hand-made strokes, minimal flattened scenery. Fill the world with young characters whose hair whips in the wind, old gadgets and electronics, meadows in full sun and puffy white clouds. The feel should fit a coming-of-age tale, nostalgic romance, an indie music video, a summer adventure, teen drama, slice-of-life animation, a road trip or a bittersweet love comic. --ar 16:9 --sref 1386872342 2295757571 3111090080
