A Table for One in the Shadow of a Shopping Bag
The deli bag from the walk home stretches its shadow into a steaming little kitchen.
✍️ The hook runs against common sense: the bag's shadow feels more like home than the bag. Three light sources (the deli window, the shadow kitchen, a lit window far off) form a sight-line path so the subject doesn't scatter. The mood line "you can get home without cooking" is the anchor; don't cut it.

Lightly humorous and deeply reassuring, a warm magical-realist illustration in vertical 3:4 with fine imperfect ink lines, matte printed color and a subtle paper texture, built on a wide cool-blue street against concentrated honey-colored warmth. The feeling: choosing not to cook can still bring a day gently home. Scene: a blue neighborhood street in early evening. A young adult in a loose navy coat, relaxed trousers and comfortable shoes is walking home from a small deli, holding an unbranded paper bag of boxed cooked dishes, a little tired but at ease. Across the rain-darkened pavement the bag's shadow unfolds into a complete miniature kitchen and dining room, with a hanging lamp, a table set for one, a pulled-out chair and rising steam, travelling alongside the walker. The deli window, this moving shadow kitchen and a distant lit home window line up into one continuous path for the eye. Behind, subdued figures by a chess table and some puddles never compete with the foreground. --ar 3:4 --raw --sref 2775931453 --hd --v 8.2
