A Rowboat Adrift, a Swan Gliding Past Behind Her

She isn't looking at the camera or at the swan — that unfocused, drifting gaze is exactly what this image wants to hold onto.

Prompt notes

✍️ The emotion doesn't come from the swan, it comes from her gaze not landing on anything in particular — point it at the swan or the lens and the daydream instantly turns into a pose. A 50mm lens with shallow depth of field blurs the willow branches into a green haze, and the trick works just as well for any other waterside portrait.

A woman reclines inside a vintage wooden rowboat drifting on a still lake, fair skin, pale blue eyes, [hair: copper-golden red hair] loose and natural. She wears a [dress: cream white ethereal chiffon dress] — off-shoulder neckline, soft puff sleeves, delicate ruching, a flowing layered skirt — leaning lazily against the boat's side, gaze drifting into the distance with a quiet dreaminess. A small bouquet of white and pale-blue flowers rests near her. Behind her, a [animal: white swan] glides across the dark, mirror-like water, framed by willow branches hanging like a green curtain. Golden-hour light backlights her hair and dress, warm reflections scattering across the water, the whole scene carrying a romantic pastoral fairytale mood. Shoot it as hyperrealistic photography — cinematic natural light, warm sunset glow, shallow depth of field, true-to-life skin texture, visible fabric weave and folds, a film-photography look, warm highlights against slightly cool green shadows, natural lens softness, 50mm lens, vertical 3:4 framing, high detail, dreamy romantic atmosphere.
