A Lone Stone Isle and Lantern Above the Sea of Clouds
A wooden lantern and a tattered flag are the island's only scale reference.
✍️ A single lantern and a single flag carry all of the scale judgment; without them the island could be a bonsai or a continent. For scenes like this, fix the scale anchor first, then fill in the rock and clouds.

Format: 16:9 aspect ratio, medium-wide shot, eye-level viewpoint that sits slightly high so the underside volume shows. Leave generous negative space on the left for visual breathing room.
Style: a painterly environmental illustration. Soft brush textures and subtle grain add tactile depth, and the primary planes keep clear edges.
Subject: one solitary island floats above a vast ocean of clouds, a calm presence in a high cinematic frame with an intimate, storybook mood. Its terraces are rock and moss, dotted with a few wind-swept trees; textured bark and lichen catch warm gold highlights from the sun and soft cool blue tones from the sky.
Story cues: a lone wooden lantern and a tattered wind banner, which also anchor the scale.
Atmosphere: luminous, lightly misted air. Pale sky-blue haze and a violet rim glow lift the island off the neutral cloudscape behind it. All surfaces are clean and carry no lettering, with tiny natural markings simplified to abstract lines that imply age and scale. Faint drifting cloud swirls and loose leaf motion bring a quiet kinetic energy.
Depth: in the foreground the nearest rock ledge resolves crisply; mid terraces and the far cloud ocean fall back in layers, at moderate depth.
Light and palette: forms are sculpted gently, warm highlights against cool shadows, to emphasize curvature and volume. Predominantly cool colors, warmed by gold accents.
