An Otter Floating Among Pencil Reeds
Colored-pencil illustration of a river otter floating on its back between reeds, paws resting on its chest.
✍️ If a cat saw this otter floating on its back, it would probably crouch down to watch too. The paws resting on its chest are the finishing touch, the russet fur is layered stroke upon stroke, and the loose diagonal leaves the water open instead of crowded.
