The Mouse Didn't Bite, but the CCTV Footage Already Hooked Me
Infrared night vision plus fisheye distortion — all the suspense rides on that wooden stir stick.
Prompt notes
✍️ The suspense here isn't whether the mouse takes the bait — it's those words 'safe distance.' That's what forces the composition to leave negative space; the compression and grain are what make the footage read as believable.

A dark, empty kitchen at night, seen through an extreme wide high-angle fixed surveillance-camera frame: tiled floor, lower cabinets, one window letting in faint light. From a safe distance, a small realistic house mouse pokes at a wooden snap mousetrap — baited with a cube of cheese — using a thin wooden stir stick. The whole scene renders in monochrome infrared night vision, with heavy digital grain, low-resolution compression artifacts, and fisheye security-lens distortion. --no people, color, cinematic lighting, motion blur --ar 16:9 --raw
