A Claw Joins the Hand at the Writing Desk
The parchment is barely unrolled and a clawed hand from the shadows has already pressed down on it.
Prompt notes
✍️ Every bit of light comes from that gold seal on the scroll — both the woman and the creature are only visible because of it. The tension isn't shouted; it comes from letting something dangerous stand quietly in the dark.

Hyper-realistic 8K render, dark fantasy aesthetic, sophisticated and mysterious in mood. Subject: a woman seated upright at a heavy oak table, high-collar lace dress, delicate silver circlet. Tabletop: ancient parchment scrolls spread edge to edge, glowing faintly from within, a golden seal among them. Behind her, out of the darkness: a monstrous demon, only half visible, eyes lit from inside; its large clawed hand comes down on the wood beside her own, a single talon indicating that seal. Air: thick with dust motes, magical butterflies drifting through it and giving off a faint ethereal light. Shadow: deep and velvety, dark enough to swallow the room yet still reading every intricate texture in the old books and every leathery ridge of the demon's skin.
