Shiva in the form of Nataraja, lord of the cosmic dance, has four arms and dances on one lifted leg, standing on a small crouching dwarf. In his right hand he carries a small drum; in a left hand, a flame; the other two hands show the gesture of protection and a downward-pointing gesture. Matted locks fan out to either side. A great circle of flames rings the whole figure and climbs through the tall frame; the viewpoint is slightly below. Make it look like a South Indian bronze panel: a thin metal sheet worked in raised and recessed relief, with hammer marks and chased lines left visible, highlights restrained, and never a smooth chrome surface. Illumination: warm temple-lamp light from below, striking the chased bronze and gold edges of limbs, hair and flame ring so bright highlights run along the hammer marks, while the hollows fall to deep umber and black. Colours: bronze, gold, copper, umber. The ring of fire frames the dancer. Finish: sacred, monumental, polished metalwork. Format: tall 9:16, the figure climbing the full height. Depict it serenely, devotionally and respectfully, true to established Hindu iconography, clothed and dignified, never comic. Do not render any readable script, mantra, letters or logos.
