Subject first: a small clothed wooden artist figure, standing upright. Its loose tunic is plain undyed linen, blank and unmarked. The arms rise slightly outward as if letting the wings go, and the head tips a little upward. Hands are smooth, rounded wooden forms: four fingers held together, a thumb lying along each palm, so exactly five digits are visible or anatomically accounted for.
