The outgoing mechanic is a stocky man in his late forties with tanned skin, round face, short grey beard and a little oil smudge on one cheekbone, in dark blue overalls. He holds a wooden clipboard with a blank sheet toward the incoming mechanic, a smiling heavyset Turkish man in his early fifties with olive skin, a short salt-and-pepper crew cut and a wide moustache, in a navy sweater and grey work trousers. The older man explains with his free hand held open; the newcomer leans in toward the sheet with a thoughtful frown. Beside them hangs a plain blank whiteboard with a few coloured magnet dots. Side view at eye level, framed from the waist up. Hands must have four fingers plus a thumb, exactly five digits visible or accounted for on each. Boards, tags, key fobs, clipboards, lockers and vehicles carry no readable words, numbers, logos or brand marks; they stay blank or use simple pictograms.
