✍️ Fog is the hardest thing to get right here — the grain and depth of field both need to land at once, or the pine forest behind reads as a flat sticker at a glance. Keeping the freckles was the right call; skin that's too clean actually looks fake, and the whole documentary feel rides on that bit of roughness.
