A Limestone Egg and a Thin Piece of Wood
The limestone egg rests steadily in a wooden groove; low light distinguishes the two surfaces.
✍️ The stable supporting relationship is the core of this still life; the egg must not seem to float by visual trickery. Use powdery details for the stone and end-grain texture for the wooden board, and leave white space so the contact point is easier to see.
